I recently purchased the Quest 2, and as soon as I saw that it had a strap based head mount like the Go (which I also own) I knew it would be a problem. The "press fit" method just isn't comfortable for long sessions and leaves goofy looking marks on my face. I also have an Odyssey+ which uses a halo style head mount and love that thing. This M2 head mount looks very similar, but with better customization. It has a more professional look to it vs some of the other halo head mounts I see available on Amazon (at least to my eye).

It's really comfortable, very secure, fits ginormous and small heads, it's awesome! Not really a strap at all though, it's more like a harness. The ring (or halo) that it forms around your head is similar to the one that a baseball hat makes. Although the angle in the back dips down a bit. The effect is that the weight of the goggles is held up by the ring/halo. I was wondering how it was possible for this "strap" to increase the field of vision as mentioned in other reviews, but now that I've tried it I see that it's the result of the lenses being held up rather than pushing down on your face. You can tighten it so that it is pressing very firmly against your face, but it won't be simultaneously pressing down as well. It actually did increase the field of vision a bit.

My goodness. This thing is amazing. I started VR with the rift S and when I switched to the quest 2 I did not like how the set clamps to your eyes. It puts a lot of strain on your face and is hard to keep focus. I purchased another headset that has the hard back with the ratchet but it still clamps to the eyes. This headset is similar to the rift in that it clamps to your head and the eye portion is floating in front without putting lots of pressure on your eyes. It feels fantastic! My main reason for buying this set was because the little bar that holds the typical over the head velcro strap had broke. This headset has the two little arms that transfer a lot of the weight of your headset instead of the strap and I think it works real good, surprisingly good. So if your strap bar broke too this is a great alternative. I would recommend this 10/10. The only thing i didn’t like was the slide-on speaker ear covers that I had bought do not work with it so I bought some earbuds for it. Just get it!!

I've got a CV1, Q1, Q2, and a Rift S. For me, the S has hands down been the most comfortable, due to not having the pressure of having the facial interface pushing into my face. My son and I have been doing more and more Virtual Desktop with either the Oculus PC app or Steam. I'm finding it really hard to go back to a corded VR experience, but the Q1 I use limits my play time due to becoming uncomfortable. I've really been on the fence of late debating whether to sell the Q1 and the S and get a second Q2. I initially purchase a different halo and it was absolute garbage. teribly uncomfortable and I didn't feel This head strap was the tipping point for the decision in favor of the Q2. The Q2 and a powerbank are still much heavier than the S, but the weight is evenly distributed around the halo. The build quality is good and the material feels solid. Another thing worth mentioning, I have a rather large head and this strap has ample room for a comfortable adjustment.

I decided to buy this halo strap to replace the elite strap. Not the regular cheap oem strap, but the one you pay extra for. even with the better strap I got tired of the face pressure. I had tried everything, better face cushion, even the fabric cover for extra comfort. But I kept finding myself tightening and tightening the strap, just to get the better field of view. Eventually, I got tired of the face pressure and figured I could alternate between the two, the halo for comfort and the elite strap for view. But holy crap, when I got the halo on, and in place, including the part in the back that slides down cradling your neck. The field of view got better not worse. Its hard to express how much of a difference the rear part of this strap makes. it holds extremely well with practically no pressure. This is the only strap I need, so comfortable, no sacrificing field of view, but actually increasing it! (this is not a fake review, I don't get paid crap, but I am a legit VR fan and I can't recommend this enough.)

Was originally getting a lot of strain on the bottom of my forehead with the Quest 2 and was almost going to order the Elite strap. But, then I noticed that a lot of them were breaking after a couple of uses, if not, a few months. I found this BOBOVR and it looked much more promising.

When adjusting for comfort, I found it a little more difficult to reach a "sweet spot" than the elite strap but it does end up fitting REALLY well when you do. The elite strap simply smushes on to your face (pressing in the facial interface to your forehead and cheeks) while this strap uses large cushions to clamp your upper forehead and lower skull. Because of how large the cushions are, this pressure felt less intense than that of the elite strap. For longer sessions, I think the BOBOVR M2 might be a winner.

Fits extremely well. I have tried the other halo straps, the Oculus elite strap, and the HTC DAS, and this is my favorite head strap. I did cut two identical slots next to the rear slot which allowed the VRPOWER to attach with no other modifications. This complete setup is very comfortable and has great balance to allow for extended game play.

I am so flipping happy with this purchase. Before getting my oculus quest 1 and then 2, I had to seriously limit how long I could play VR because it was way too painful for me to use the headsets with the straps that come with them. I also got an off-brand strap with the 2 (since I got it used), and it didn't help much because the pressure of the headset on my face was still very uncomfortable. I tried looking for other straps and didn't have much hope, so I got a better cover for the headset so at least it wouldn't be quite as painful on be face, but the change was pretty minimal.

Just got mine and it exceeds expectations. Had bought the Elite strap when I got my quest, but it always slipped down my face even if really tightened. This was a noticeable improvement as it feels more like it is just sitting on my head, rather than tied around it and it doesn't slip. I have very short hair, almost bald. Also using prescription lenses and they work great with this whereas before my eyes were a bit close to the lenses.
