   Unless you're a true audio nerd, this elegant little gizmo is more manageable, with much longer battery life than musician-oriented recorders from Zoom, Tascam, and similar recorders. . I also have a voice recorder (Zoom with better microphone etc) but this one starts up faster, is easier to lug around and is 5 times more commonly used than my nicer one.

It's super sensitive to noise so if there's background noise, it picks it up. Maybe you can replace a battery on the other side of the room! You can adjust its default sensitivity

Oh and you're sure there should be some sort of software like Pro Tools to be able to transfer the files to. Makes it easy to see directly directly where the inconsistency is.

It's super easy to use and picks up sound out of the box very clearly and from a great distance. Just put the pin in and turn it on.

   Another thing that I like about it is that when you go to delete a file, it starts playing the file so that you are sure which file it is. Nice. It also would accept an external mic, and has a "hold" feature which locks out all buttons so that if you have it in your pocket, it will not be affected by inadvertent bumps.
