   First let me say, this thing is amazing. It is tiny and light. The build quality seems to be very good. When I first received it, I was able to plug it straight into my pc and it registered with no issues. I then hooked it up to my daughter's mac book pro, again no problems at all. Transmission speed on transferring of photos was extremely quick. I would definitely recommend this device for any portable storage needs.

   This SSD is tiny, Like 8 keys on on my keyboard tiny. And when I saw the specs, I didn't think it could really live up to that speed. But in a quick benchmark over a thunderbolt port - it absolutely does (see attached screenshot). I'm impressed. Now a benchmark is just a benchmark but it's a great starting place. In using this drive, it's felt fast. If I forget and plug it into a slower port, I can immediately tell. The performance is halved.

   L'ho comprato per creare un disco avviabile esterno su Air M1. Sono pienamente soddisfatto di come Ventura OS giri. E' veloce come il disco interno? No, ma per l'uso che ne faccio ( Photoshop, Lightroom....a livello amatoriale) la perdita di prestazione è davvero minima. USB 3.1 2a generazione, aiuta. Non ho fatto test, ma con l'esperienza dell'uso quotidiano posso dire che la ssd è davvero veloce e prestante. Non ultimo: è davvero piccino, sta ovunque e non sembra costruito con materiali cheap. Davvero un best-buy.

   I always love more disk space, and external hard drives are great for their portability. This one is extremely small, like 2 flashdrives side by side. It has a hard metal outer shell with a plastic ring around the middle. There is a rubber loop on one corner so you can attach it to a keychain or something if you prefer. The external hard drive came with 2 cables. One a USB C to USB 3.0, the other a USB C to USC C. Both are very short, so don't expect for this to sit on your desk. The drive will likely hang off your PC because of how short the cables are.

   I purchased this drive to replace an old portable drive on my iMac expecting it to be maybe 2X faster than my old mechanical drive. What a surprise the drive is about 9X faster than my old drive as measured by Blackmagic Disk Speed Test app on Mac (see photos above with left photo showing my old drive performance and right photo showing the SSK 1TB transfer speed performance). Besides the incredible speed performance improvement the drive also is so much smaller and compact making it much easier to carry along on trips to share photos with family. The price is very good for this level of performance since it is only about 2X what you would pay for a much slower transfer speed mechanical drive. I would recommend it to anyone looking to replace a slower mechanical drive.

   This drive is well made and I like the metal casing. The connections are tight and fits well in the hand. To make my iPad recognize the drive I had to format it and give it a name. It didn't come out if the box ready for IOS but this in normal in my experience. Format is exFAT with a name and it was good to go. I'd buy again. Good value for the money with a good fit and finish.

   This is a nice little drive and is packaged very well. It includes both a C-C USB cable, as well as a C-A cable, so that's pretty handy since I have some Macbooks with C ports as well as some Windows/Linux PCs with only A ports. The cables are only about a foot long, so they're easy to carry with you, but if you're trying to plug in to the back of a PC tower sitting under your desk it's a little annoying.
