So the best thing is to read the stories before hand. It is actually more fun because I always act out the roles and emotions so it's more vivid 😂 well, my boys like it so far. The projector was not the best, but I wouldn't have minded that if it wasn't for the biggest drawback…the stories are horribly written. It ruined the enthusiasm my son had for it once he heard the stories. They are shorted stories and they are not done well. Also I wish they could have made it clearer when to turn the slide to keep with the story. This has the potential to be an awesome toy/gift, but unless the stories are revised and checked for errors I would never recommend this to anyone!

This is just a little toy with 8 little stories. Some of the stories are not written that well but I read them to myself and tell them back in my own words with the slide show. The pictures are very clear in the dark, and also clear when it's dim but just not as big. My little guy loves it. It doesn't replace reading your child full length books but it's really cute.
