   Oh, we are quite pleased with these solar lights! I actually installed them (extremely easy and efficient assembly) without the extension piece, to keep them lower to the ground. Be sure to power them on when you want them to work! We will definitely take these camping with us, as well. It's kind of crazy how they truly resemble "flames" inside the lanterns. We're big fans!

But the "flames" put off a nice glowing flicker and look nice in an outdoor planter or along side a backyard pool installation. I will probably get more, as 4 is not really enough to create a nice nighttime effect. They also look nice as decor during the daytime as well.

   I've had these lights in place for about a week now and they look great! I have several different brand/style flickering solar lights and these are slightly bigger and brighter than my other ones. They have a more squarish look to them that my other ones that are round. These also have a larger footprint than the others I have. When you receive these you need to put them together piece by piece but I found that process to be very easy to do and it took me all of 5 minutes to complete. My favorite solar lights to date!

   I got these as accents to our landscape. Not quite sure where they will fit in best. I will likely move them around until I find the perfect spot. The instructions for putting these together are good. They go together very easily. For my rocky and clay soil I could not simply pound them in. So, I used a weed tool to loosen up the soil. I'm challenged to get them perfectly straight but then I just need to use a level to get that right. I really like the flame effect. Of course these are all plastic. These use replaceable NiCd batteries which seem up to the task.
