This product is designed to look like an alarm clock. It can be hung on a tree, placed anywhere in the house or in your yard. It can be hung, placed on a table or other places.
When the ultrasonic bark suppressor alarm clock detects excessive barking, the microphone will sense the bark and activate the components. At this time, the product will emit a safe high-pitched ultrasonic sound that can be heard by dogs but cannot be heard by dogs.

The stimulation of ultrasound sound will stop barking, because ultrasound will make the dog feel uncomfortable, so as to achieve the effect of stopping barking. Excessive barking of dogs will affect you and your neighbors.
Outdoor ultrasonic bark suppressors can effectively stop dogs from barking and do not require receiving collars. They are safe and effective, and are suitable for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

The product has 4 frequency bands to choose from, according to different pets or animal types and sizes.

It is still working well with my two terriers (a chi mix and a yorkie). Because of the reviews re: small dogs/terriers, I was a little wary of trying it, but they have been doing well with it. Keep in mind they haven't stopped their barking entirely, but they do stop barking almost immediately. When someone comes to the door though, they don't care about it at all and continue barking. This may be due to their focus or to their level of anxiety (increasing due to guest) or it could be that they are too far from the machine; I'm not really sure.

My border collie-beagle mix responded immediately to it and would not howl when we left and she had some separation anxiety (neighbors alerted us to her howling - two weeks later). After we placed it in the room she no longer howled when we were away - whether it was for a few mins or a few hours. We also would take it with us on trips to hotels or friends houses because of the neurotic nature of our pup (border collie, remember). Being in new locations threw her for a loop and she would bark/howl. Not with this device.

This device has definitely cut down on the frequency and longevity of the barking episodes. I felt bad bc if 1 dog barks they all get hit with the ultrasonic sound, but that's the only way to deter the barking. I had purchased an anti-bark collar also but couldn't decide which dog to put it on, so I will be returning that. This was well worth my money.
