   I was tired of flinging dead frogs into the woods - and I felt bad. I like frogs. I got this thing hoping it would help. I've bought a new one every year for the last 3 years (It fades in the sun and looks dull). Since using it I have not pulled a dead frog from my skimmer! I see them in the morning sometimes zooming around the deep end and even sitting on the log. Stupid thing works great! Buy one! Kermit will put you on his Christmas card list!

   We just bought a house with a pool. I really hated getting the dead rodents out of the skimmer baskets. I read somewhere to get these because the critters can get out of the pool before they drown and get stuck in the skimmers. They def work because we haven't had a single critter since getting them and we always had at least one or two everyday when checking the baskets! We put one on each side of our skimmers and one on the opposite side of the pool! Great investment.

   I live near a pond, so I was getting dead frogs in the pool quite often. In the springtime it was almost daily, which was heartbreaking. Since installing this device I have not had ONE SINGLE frog drown in the pool. Evidently they all find their way out via the ramp. It has worked better than I had even hoped. I was hoping for a decent reduction, but it has been ZERO for over a month. I did lose one mouse in the pool, but even that is less often than before. Doesn't work on bugs.

   We recently had a pool installed. We purchased this because I really hated pulling dead frogs out of our friends pool when we would visit their pool. For the price, we figured “why not?”. Before we had water in the pool we find tons of dead frogs and lizards in the bottom. The day after the water was put in the pool, we had around 50 frogs in the pool, some dead and some alive. It was disgusting. We went and grabbed the frog log from the house to try it out. Since then, 1 and 1/2 months ago, we've only had a random frog here and there 4 tops, most found alive in skimmer basket. We found on on the frog log but it jumped off when we tried to get a picture. The other day my son went out and saw this cutie trying to get on. We scooped him out. This is a good investment to reduce critters in the pool.

   I used to have to scoop frogs out of the pool several times a week. Ever since I installed the Frog Log, I have not had to get any frogs out. They still get in but they make their way out. Works great! The only complaint I have was when you have to slide the plastic pieces in the ramp, it is too wide and had to shave off the sides with a knife to get them to fit.

This saves so many frogs and toads! I put the used ones on the edge of my pond also. It's got a fiberglass form and the frogs have a hard time getting out. This allows them to do that. Now the toads hang out on them every night 1-3 on each “log” and we never have to fish them out of the water with the skimmer! It's a great buy if you have any wildlife you're worried about drowning in your pool.

Our frogs “aren't smart enough” to figure out how to use the device, he said. Three weeks later he had to concede that either the frogs are suddenly avoiding our pool or the Frog Logs work. We haven't found one frog, dead or alive, in the pool. Very few crickets, either.
