   I was a bit skeptical at first but noticed the dimensions were good, and since i couldnt find one in the color i wanted with any other seller...burgundy...i gave this one a go. Im just shy of 6 ft tall with an athletic build, and i needed one like the one i bought my wife to lean against our headboard while we watch tv. This is NOT a kids sized pillow, regardless what other reviewers say. Im leaning on it as i type this. Its very firm, VERY, firm. If you want a pillow that has barely any give, this ones for you. The arms could've been longer

   I haven’t been more glad I bought something in a long time. I have back pain all the way from upper to lower and this is just what I need. My living room chair is not comfortable for me to sit in because of the back issues so I end up laying on my bed, but then I end up falling asleep. I bought this so I could sit up on my bed and do stuff instead of falling asleep. It is exactly what I need. It is nice and firm so it, of course, keeps me sitting up and it feels great on my back. And of course, since I am on my bed, I can stretch my legs out so my legs don’t hurt. It’s a God send.

   You really need to know what kind of pillow you want. I wanted a heavy, thick and firm pillow to read while laying in bed. This fits the bill perfectly. The fabric is really like a slightly velour t-shirt fabric. It is not super soft or velvety to the touch; however.It is not scratchy or rough. There was no smell when it arrived. I find that the pillow holds its shape even while resting unassisted on the edge of bed or couch. It has a handle on top, which is really just a strap of fabric, to lift it by when moving it out of the way. The color is a deep maroon not a bright red. I am very satisfied with the structure and durability of this pillow.

   Before purchasing this product as a Christmas Gift for a 6 foot man, I spent time reading over all of the reviews. I could not help to notice that so many people were complaining because of the size and the firmness of this product. So I looked at the size and dimensions before ordering this product and felt comfortable about the purchase. When the product arrived, it was perfect. If you are looking for a Back Rest that your neck can rest on then this is not the one for you. But if you want your back to be supported while you are sitting up in your bed, this back rest is perfect. Yep, it's firm too and we love it like that. So it is a personal preference.

Saw many higher priced ones, and looked at the reviews on this one. Mostly good, but many complained, its too firm. I received mine and saw the situation. YES. It's firm. Its made to be a makeshift chair for the floor or your bed. It's made to keep you upright like a chair. If you scoot your bottom down a bit, it's tall enough to rest your head. If you want something squishy/soft, stack pillows up behind you. You buy this, to have a lounge chair in your bed or on the floor. I remembered, and looked for this because I was tired of all the pillows not working correctly when I wanted to sit up in bed.

   I ordered two of these; one for me and one for my partner. I couldn’t find any QC defects between them. Both are very sturdy and supportive, which is exactly what we were looking for. They aren’t hard as a rock, but there definitely isn’t much give. The beige color choice was a mistake as it is much more 70s burnt orange than the photos showed but I guess we didn’t order them for their aesthetics.
