   What I like about this product is how well it cleans up. No residue once you wash your hair, and it easily washes off hands. It's a bit wet once you initially apply, but it dries well and not too sticky at all. I would suggest testing it a few times to get the feel of it. I use this to highlight my grey hair.

   It did exactly what I wanted. I wanted a grayish white and I did NOT BLEACH MY HAIR FIRST. This is the before and after picture so I knew it wasn’t going to be white white, but I wanted a gray tone. If you go to PLATINUM, and put it on and leave in on for bout 10 min max you WILL get that ashy platinum blonde or “silver white” no doubt. Leave it on too long you get gray, that’s the math. I wanted the gray tone cuz I didn’t wanna bleach my hair again. I was platinum whitish before but it’s been a while and the toner faded so I put this straight on. I wanted gray. I liked it. And I got it. I highly highly recommend this stuff. Just remember, the longer you leave it on the more gray you will get. So if you want silver white, I would bleach out your head (if you can) and put this color on as a toner and rinse it out after like 10 min. It gets darker the longer you have it on. So for those people that left it on as long as they did and complained, it’s cuz they didn’t follow instructions.

   I wanted to add my review because I really appreciated reading everyone else's thoughts on the product. I had the idea a few months ago to "go silver," and bleached out my hair. I then used the L'Oreal Smokey Silver, which turned out dark gray and blue--really pretty but really artificial looking. This grey was the color I really wanted, but I hesitated because of the bad luck people mentioned here. So I finally tried it, wanting something to work really as just a toner to transform some of my hair that looked more blond than silver. This product was it! I really appreciated that, as the color developed in the bottle, it was a pale lavender (not dark blue) and my hair came out silver (not blue) with maybe a faint hint of lavender. I think the key, as others have said, is to have bleached out hair. I don't believe this product lightens your hair. Hope this is helpful for someone else.

   I gave this a 5 stars because it is actually a nice product! My husband wanted to try out what he would look like with a gray beard and hair. So instead of permanent dye we tried this. He even slept in it, to see what would happen. It’s not stiff and it washes out nicely! It didn’t do anything to our sheets or his face after wearing it for 24 hours.

It's practically odorless, is malleable like a true hair wax, and is very pigmented as advertised. I even dipped a clean mascara wand in it to shape and color my eyebrows for that ~extra touch.    This was very easy to use especially having not colored my hair in many years. As my dark brown hair kept getting whiter and whiter, people kept thinking I was much older than my 68 years. It is still gray - befitting my age but now it is in "fun" shades of gray. It also added a lot of much needed body to my hair. I am very pleased and will continue to use this in the future.At 4 weeks later my hair is already lighter but I was reluctant to leave the coloring on too long as I had not colored my hair in many years. Next time I will leave it on the longest suggested time and maybe a little longer. It may also be possible that as white as my hair is, I just may need to color it more often. I am nonetheless VERY pleased and will continue to use this product

   I have had the yellowish blonde color that I've tried to get rid of (many, many salon visits and lots of $$$) because my natural hair is growing in as white & gray. Even for my long hair, I only had to use one bottle of color. I left color on for 20 min. and it turned out as a darker slate gray which wash also pretty, but I wanted it lighter silver gray. After the first shampooing ... the color turned out to be perfect and exactly the color I wanted !!!

   I was skeptical to let my teen hop on the quarantine dyed hair bandwagon but we are outta school for 4 more months so why not. She has medium fine brown hair and I did not want to bleach. Bought this brand and was skeptical. I was blown away! We are in total love with the color amethyst chrome. Its so shiney and healthy looking. It's very noticeable in sunlight and a little more subtle inside. It was super easy to use. We just did the lower half of her hair. I sectioned it off into 4 sections and then applied 1 section at a time and after each section was complete I wrapped in aluminum foil (I dont know why I just saw it on YouTube) we left it on 35-40 min and she rinsed and conditioned as instructed. It will be interesting to see how it fades over time. I took a pic of it today in the sun. Will definitely buy again!

   I had tried to dye my hair a light pink color from a different brand, it did nothing. I called my cousin who is a hair dresser in a different state to ask what I did wrong. She said most likely it was old, or could be caused by medication. She told me to go darker. So I found the amethyst and fell in love with the color. I left it on for 45 min, and love how it came out. I’ve trained my hair to only needing to be washed every 4 days. So 5 weeks in and it has faded a little, but still looks great. My hair is dark strawberry blond, so going darker was the right call.

   I have been using this product for about four months now and I love it! instructions. There is no need for bleaching as it has ammonium hydroxide as an ingredient which is a lightener and it is intended for darker hair. It states in the directions if you have bleached hair to call them and they will give you instructions for coloring bleached hair. It covers my Grey's completely and beautifully. I have long hair so I use two boxes and I always do the all over color, never root regrowth application. I use this product about once a month and in between coloring I use punky colour 3-in-1 depositing shampoo + conditioner . I use Bulemania when I notice my color fading, which is usually halfway between colorings. Also I do not wash my hair everyday because the blue comes out a little each time you wash, so I shampoo about every two days. Hope this review helps change some minds about this product as it is a great product if used correctly.
