This is the first time I use this type of a single eye and enjoyed it. We went up the mountains and stopped at a view point and you can really see at a far distance up close with no problem. Adjusting the lense and focusing in, wow!

   I originally came across this looking for binoculars to attach my phone to for pictures. I then realized having a single looking glass might be easier for this. It’s compact, everything fits into the carrying case (monocular, tripod and phone mount).The tripod has independent height adjustment for each leg, which is good if you aren’t on a flat surface. It’s getting cold out, but hopefully next spring I’ll be able to get some good pictures using this to watch birds!

   That is a high-quality product. I love it, but it is a bit heavy for me to carry for hiking and it requires operating with both hands. When I saw they came out with this monocular, I would like to give it a try. Surely it is good. The quality of images is very good as expected. It is much lighter than the binocular, which is great for hiking. It is also easy to operate with one hand. The focusing wheel is right at my fingertip, and it is not too tight to turn. Plus, it came with fixtures for capturing images with my phone. Great value for the price!

   My husband had shown me a picture of one of these and thought he'd like to have one. I thought it was a waste of money so skipped it at Christmas. He never buys anything for himself. So when his 70th Birthday was around the corner I thought I would surprise him. He was pretty excited and it fits in his motorcycle bag. However, my son and I also like it. We live on a lake and we use it often so it sits by the patio door for easy access. My son will turn 40 and I am thinking we might get him his own for his birthday. We have not done anything with the phone accessories as of yet so I cannot comment on how good that works.
