It's a super nice lamp! I really like it…. It is definitely larger than I was anticipating for my little desk~ but that's okay. Putting it together was not super difficult but remember to read instructions carefully and to turn from the base. I didn't see that part at first and it wasn't connecting quite right. However once I did it correctly it went right into place. Seems very sturdy compared to many other lamps I've owned.

These are gorgeous, very well made lamps. I saw a one star review where they complained the lamp does not fit to the base and therefore the shade cannot sit level. Not true. All that is required is to tug the silk wrapped cord through the small hole at the base until it fits tightly, add the harp and screw in the bulb. There is absolutely no need to take the bottom off and re-glue it as this person claimed to have done multiple times. It is a beautiful and very well made lamp. I have ordered two more similar lamps from this company and they are equally as stunning. Even the cords are pretty. They come packaged beautifully and include a light bulb and thank you note. We purchased these for our beach condo and wanted a coastal theme without going too overboard on the island decor. Perfect.
