   I always have difficulty finding a snug fit in this type of hat and have lost more than one because of a loose fit. This hat fits my head because of the adjustable feature. I was afraid the adjustment would make the hat look funny or loosen during wearing the hat but it stays right where I set it. The scale of the hat is perfect even though I am only 5'1'' tall.    Just put on this hat on an excursion to Mexico and it is priceless. The brim is wide enough to keep out the sun and the hat is ventilated enough to cool the head. Having a larger-than-usual skull capacity, I rarely find hats that fit. This hat fits perfectly. Tight enough to stay in a breeze, loose enough that I didn't leave a headband mark on my forehead after taking it off. The hat isn't really flat, but folds up well enough for a pair of socks to keep the crown from getting deformed in my suitcase.

Love the width of the brim for protecting my face from the sun. Comfortable, too! The brim is flexible -- almost "moldable" so that you can position it where you want.
