   These melamine foam “magic erasers” work great for cleaning things. Why pay so much for the name brand, when you can have the same thing for literally a fraction of the price. They work the best with copious amounts of water and can take most any kind of dirt/debris off your surfaces. All those burnt, stubborn, sticky spills, and stains can be easily removed off bathroom fixtures, cabinets, and even walls using these sponges with just water. I had to learn to go softly on the walls because although I took off the dirt, I took the sheen off as well. Be careful though, like real sandpaper, you can take off too much. They end up eventually dissolving. Hope this helps you make your decision.

   I use these to clean the insides of my fish tank. These are a bit thicker than the ones I like, which wouldn't be a big problem. The big problem is that they come apart easily. Like the edges of them just come right off as I'm getting them out of the bag. Very flimsy for such a thick item.
