The skirt is very short, though. It barely covered my rear end and I'm 5"8", so I added a white petticoat and it looked great.

I'm 5'0 tall and 108 pounds and the small fit perfectly. I usually buy an extra small, but I'm glad that I listened to the other reviews. Just a warning, I am a 32 A and the front looks VERY empty. So sad, I will probably have to wear some huge bra. This dress leaves a lot of room in the front which is great if you have bigger breasts, but depressing if you have smaller ones.

If you're smaller and much thinner with narrow hips then extra small is for you. Otherwise, order a size up! Nevertheless, the material was absolutely stunning, especially the red cape which is just as fabulous as everyone else who bought this said. Definitely the best costume i've ever bought until now and nothing beats the price. Would definitely recommend!

I ordered an xsmall because of the reviews (I'm 5ft and about 110lbs with curves) and it fits a little tight on me. However, it is not too tight to wear and not worth sending back.    I was a bit skeptical about buying a packaged Halloween costume because in the past I've bought really poor quality ones and hated how flimsy they looked in photos and whatnot. So I was worried this one would be like that. It is NOT at all! The materials feel nice and dense, they do not look or feel cheap at all. The cape, especially is nicer than I expected it to be. Sure there are a few threads here and there that you gotta snip away but other than that, it looks and feel great. Word of caution to my tall sisters out there, this is going to be extremely short on you. I'm 5'2" and it's the perfect length.

In retrospect, I probably should have ordered a size up because it was quite tight and far too short to wear in public, even with the built-in petticoat which adds a nice inch or so. It showed underwear without even bending over! Also, the too area seemed like it was made for someone who has quite a large chest, but that was easily fixable. Overall, this costume was really cute and with just a few tweaks ended up being perfect and very affordable!

   Love this costume!! Normally I don't buy my costumes, I make them, but this year I was very busy and just bought one. The bodice, skirt and cape are of a thicker velvet material. It made the costume look and feel way more expensive than it was. It held it's shape, was super flattering and you don't need to add a petty coat like with most other costumes. The tulle underskirt is more that enough to hold out the skirt and it's super cute. I would absolutely recommend buying this. I recieved tons of compliments. It does run a little large. Probably can go one size smaller than you would normally wear. BTW I am 5'6 and 190 lbs and the large fit fine, just a tiny bit loose.

   I bought this just for the cape (for some reason, it's cheaper to buy a whole packaged costume than a separate red cape) and I'm pretty shocked by how well made this is for around $25. The cape itself is a nice crimson velvet-esque material that's just the right tailbone length. The dress itself is also pretty thoughtfully made; there's even a bit of fabric boning around the "corset" and the materials and stitching are nice. I'm 5'11" and 140 lbs. and the dress in a Medium just covers my butt and really swims on me, so I imagine if you're tall and want the dress itself this probably won't be your best option (although I imagine a short girl could pull this off very well). Very pleased!
