This year I wanted to get a head start on looking for a Halloween costume, considering where I live there are limited options, and I have odd body proportions (5' 5", 145 pounds, 34DDD boobs, and very narrow rib cage) so I decided on this costume. Overall I love it, I love that the dress almost looks like a beer girl so you could wear it that way without the cape, or you could wear it with the cape and you look exactly like little red riding hood.

   I wanted to leave a review for this product just because when buying Halloween costumes...you just get ripped off a lot. On a lot of costumes the product is bad and fits horrible. I received my costume today and I am very very pleased. For the price of this you just cannot go wrong. The dress and cape our made of some kind of velvet material that is very pleasing to the eyes. The cape is a actual cape and not some stupid piece of material that just has a hood and ends at the neck. The cape reached the bottom of the dress. There is a petticoat under it that does a good enough job, if you don't want to buy one. I chose to buy one, but either way it will work. The colors are bright and vibrant. The only thing that I will have to do is take in the breast area, But I kinda knew I might have to do that from what the sizing numbers were. It's a easy fix that will take only a few minutes.

   Considering the price, it was great. The material is good and the length wasn't too short on me, it was more modest than anticipated but I feel more comfortable that way. The one thing I'll say is the boob part is a bit weird, like my boobs ought to be perkier and larger (I'm a 32c) to fit the way the boob cut out intends, but as an easy Halloween costume, it was great. I added the basket as well and bought a little petticoat thingy for extra skirt poof, got lots of compliments!

   Wore this for Halloween and it was a great costume! Amazing for the cost and no one could believe how little I spent on it! The whole costume is well done and the cape alone is very nice. I did have to lightly press it with a warm iron to get the wrinkles out but I was careful and used an ironing cloth on top. Nothing too hot. I also had to fluff the underskirt material and didn't do enough of that before the party so it would be the best it could look. Be sure to keep pulling the tulle underneath to get the lace to peak out nicely. It's a costume that's going to get reused as often as I can over the years and it looks like it'll last. My bra straps did show a little and the zipper went wonky the first time I zipped it, but with careful zipping, it's fine. Otherwise, couldn't recommend this costume enough! Just watch out for the big bad wolf that's sure to follow you if you wear this!

I searched for other red riding hood costumes and this was my favorite one, the material feels nice too. all you need is a pair of white bow socks and some cute shoes to make it look even better. Also, the outfit kept me pretty warm throughout the night. The top part is very stretchy for those who have bigger boobs. The middle part you can tighten or loosen to fit your curve. The skirt however doesn't have much poof to it so I have to buy a tulle to put underneath it.

   GREAT quality costume for the price just as most reviewers suggest. Some cape-fix advice: the velvet material is cut in a pointy way that made my shoulders look broader than they are. I fixed this with safety pins. Simply make the same "points" at the shoulders on the inside of the cape and pin it. You're basically disguising them by pushing the points in to get rid of them. The cape will then fall nicely in a flattering way.
