   So far this sharpener has blown away all of my exceptions. It's seems extremely well built and sturdy and very little wobbliness. I've already sharpened 3 knifes to try it out and it creates a flawless razor edge. It has the full range of stones to cover any sharpening job. It is best to use a sponge to clean and hydrate the stone every few passes when doing the final polishing.

This sharpener puts a very precise, straight edge razors edge on everything. Short learning curve and then an edge to give you bragging rights. As an added bonus I discovered how little time and effort it takes once you learn to use it correctly. Money well spent.

   Extremely easy to set up and start using in about 5 minutes. Well designed and manufactured and I love using it. I recommend having a small squirter bottle of water to keep the stones and knife wet. The instructions are well written and clear to understand. There is an app on the Google play store of the same name that gives you access to a digital level using your phone, as well as an angle calculator for specific knives.

   This redesign is a huge improvement on Ruixin's previous models. The changes addressed all the issues I had with the previous models. Everything is held firmly with no slipping. The best improvements are the nylon guide ball which holds the angle solidly, the 360 degree rotating head, and the knife clamping system. I'm not a fan of the large handle, but it doesn't negatively impact the operation of the unit. This a great, affordable alternative to the more costly sharpening systems.

   Love love love love love this product. One of the very few products I've ever ordered that turned out to be even better than I expected. I have now fallen in love with my knives again because they are just incredibly sharp. The only question I have, and I don't know if it's design or flaw, is the angle of the blade is different when one side is face up versus the other. The explanation for that isn't covered anywhere, so I wonder if it's supposed to be like that, and if not if if there's something I should do to accommodate for the change.

   I've bought and tested a bunch of different knife sharpeners over the years. Some are "okay-ish" and make a dull knife less dull. Others "can" do a good job but require a lot of finesse. This one actually works as it's supposed to, I think. Read the directions carefully, especially how to mark the edge with a marker to make sure you're angle is close to what you need. I found that some edges are compound: a shallower taper up the the cutting edge which has a slightly steeper angle. But if you don't rush things and take your time, you'll get good results. Be careful, though! When you flip the knife over to do the other side, pay attention where your hands and fingers are! As the blade gets sharper a careless person can get a cut. But that can be said for any sharpener of method, in my experience.

   Easy to set up and use. You can use the angle app on your smartphone to set the exact angle for correct sharpening, whether it is a scandi-grind knife or a set of garden shears. I have even used it on my lawnmower blades, and tomahawks, and it works fantastic.
