   My dog and I played with it together, taking turns getting the food out. She didn't understand to pull the string instead wobbled the tower until some food fell but it works and is fun. My minor complaint is the tower was not very secure in the base but it may be due to my error of putting it together. Base was heavy enough to not slide around on the floor.    My lab loves puzzles and this one taught her a new trick - to pull the piece out by the string. To teach her this, I took the pice out and set it on the floor and told her to bring it to me (she knows that command to bring something). The only way she could pick it up from the floor was to grab the string and as soon as she did, she got a reward. So the behavior of grabbing the string was being rewarded. Did that a few times. Then I held the piece with the string loop up and told her to get (again a command she knows). As soon as she took tos string in her mouth she was rewarded. Then she took the string and pulled, rewarded. Few times of repeating that and I could put the puzzle together. At first I only used one (bottom) piece for her to pull out, then added pieces in the right order. She loves this puzzle and we both had fun making it work!

   This was my first time trying an interactive toy like this for my dog. I guess he is very smart because he got each treat out within three minutes of me putting it in front of him. If you stuff the treats or use peanut butter to make it harder for your dog to get out this is perfect. I was able to file my dogs nails while he tried to get the peanut butter out.

   At first my dog (3.5 yro) was scared of it and didn't know how to use it. Sat there just staring at it. After a couple of days showing her and her figuring that treats fall out, she loved it!    This is a great customizable food puzzle. You can change the order of the layers and you can put the pegs in between the flower petals to make it harder. For a large dog the pegs can have food inside but for a cat he cannot get his mouth around it and it is in well enough that he can't easily knock it out so I only use it to make the puzzle harder by preventing the petals from separating too far. He is still able to get his paw in between the flower levels with the pegs in but not his mouth. Making it different every few months keeps him interested. Great investment. It does slide all over the floor on tile. I don't know about carpet because we don't have any. So I usually have it in a corner. Sometimes he knocks the pegs out and it takes me a while to find them so that is a game for me LOL!

   My 4 month, 4 pound pup got six of them opened in about 15 minutes. This was perfect for her size. After she got all the treats she played with the small kong shaped pieces, rolling them around on the floors. It kept her occupied for about an hour. She enjoyed it. She kept going back and playing, making sure she didn't miss any treats. I liked the fact that treats you can buy at Walmart etc. fit the puzzle. I used Blue buffalo bits and the tiny milk bones.

   This is his new favorite toy/game and I couldn't be happier. My other dog Malven hasn't quite figured out to spin the dispensers with his paw so he tries to chew the lids off or tips the whole thing over, but it's not a deal breaker for me.    Only problem is now my dog wants it all the time. He associates it with treats and once he figured it out ,he thinks he needs to do it 3 or 4 tines a day just because he gets treats. Once shown it took him a few minutes.. It took our big ole horse dog about 10 minutes but she loves it too. Nothing is chew proof so we do not leave if out, but when they are overly rambunctious I take it out to distract them.
