   Well it came broken and nonfunctional out of the shipping bag. I had to take it apart and line up the spring and reassemble to get it to work. Wiring information was pretty minimal. I just had to guess and hope for the best with my controller. I got it to work but had to remove the connectors it comes with for a new adapters reused from my ebikes original harness.

   This is a great product, don't be an idiot. If the throttle doesn't fit don't force it on. You will need to sand down the bar a bit to make sure it fits. The guy below probably tried to force it on, then realizing it won't go all the way in tried to pull it off and then the plastic throttle ripped off, obviously it comes apart thats how its put together, if you can't snap it together like I did mine your dense.(yeah it happened to me to) This is a wonderful product i just wish the connectors weren't crimped so i could modify the length of the cable and still use the connectors, and the led was brighter or adjustable.

   This throttle was the same as the old broken one I had my on my e500. It took a while to put on or figure out but he is some instructions. First pull handle grip off handle then push old throttle off with rubber malet or rubber hammer. Next open up the battery compartment with screen facing forwards with tiny handle on it. Unscrew it. Then unplug red connector cable from batter to controlle switch. Next unscrew the two screws parallel to each other to open control compartment and find cable labeled throttle unconnect it then push it out hole. Finally put new connector in control compartment and wire up to the handle and put on Throttle then grip

   I'm a bit of an electric vehicle nerd and one of my problems with early hub motor kits has been junk throttles that short out when they sense a drop of rain is within a 100 miles. I'd taken to putting plastic bags over them to try and save them when riding in the rain. This set is similar to a friend's but feels like better plastic and I like the display as the hub motor kit I put on a long time ago has no display of it's own. I also got a new controller that allows useage of the 3 speed switch so I can have a mode that slows my top end down. Only issue is that the throttle and controller have different plugs for that use so I will have to clip one of them once I find a compatible plug end. Also presently not using the grip as I have a twist shifter on the other side. Hoping I can figure out a way to swap the grip on the shifter for this one. I've also contemplated opening it up and using my glue gun to pot the electronics inside for better weather protection, not sure if that might be a good idea or not.

   I have 4, 20 year old Zappy scooters. I used these to upgrade and modernize the scooter. It works great. Kids love being able to dead start without having to run the scooters up to speed first. Decent throttle sensitivity and much easier to control vs. the old method of feathering the throttle.
