   I had bought a different helmet on Amazon at the beginning of this summer for my big headed daughter to wear while bicycling and scootering. Well it was WAY too big and not adjustable at all. Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!)

   Wow! I love this helmet! I haven't purchased a helmet since the 90s, so I had no idea about the new helmet technology that existed... I was just suffering with my old 90s helmet that was a huge pain in the ass to adjust, and it was never quite right! This helmet is so easy to adjust with the dial on the back! You can do it WHILE you're riding if it feels too loose or too tight. You just turn the dial to make it looser or tighter. It's SO easy. I was also a bit concerned that the helmet would be too big for my head, I'm a 20-something female and it fits PERFECTLY. I can adjust it to be looser if I'm wearing my hair up or tighter if my hair is down. It feels a lot more protective than my last helmet because I can easily dial in the adjustments to make it fit snugly on my head. The helmet stays put and doesn't move around when I go over bumps in the road. Very comfortable too. I love the visor. Great affordable helmet. I would recommend this to anyone.

   Our 6.5 yo grandson needed a new helmet. So he sat on my lap & we looked at Amazon to see what they had. He was telling me he hoped they had one w/flames on it. Well when he saw it he was done looking. Fortunately it was available in his size. We ordered it Mon or Tues & said we would have it Thursday. He was so excited bc that was only 2 days away. It did come Thurs but he wasn't here. I didn't open as it was his & I saved it for him to open. His older sisters brought him up this evening & when I showed him the box he got all excited. When he put it on it was to tight & boy was he ever disappointed. I looked at it & it has a loosening/tightening wheel in the back. Once I gave it a couple turns it was perfect & out the door he went to get his bike & take off. We live on a farm & much of the area is either concrete or blacktop so he has plenty of space to ride. He loves his the black w/flaming streaks. He had to ask each one of us "did we like his new helmet?" It is a nice, snug fit.

   Now I have a big head for a woman I suppose - 24" and this helmet fits perfectly. There are some aesthetic imperfections but these can be overlooked. The intended purpose of the helmet is protection and I feel that my head is protected from injury while riding with this helmet. I have knocked it around a bit (not on my head)and it is still intact). The chin strap fits well and it does not make you look geeky at all, quite cute actually and the visor assists with protection from the sun. Don't have any problems with my visor being blown off as mentioned by other reviewers, I probably was not exposed to winds as strong as they were. Also, I found that the two end clips on the visor are quite strong and very difficult to take off, it is the two inner clips that are not embedded deep which enables you to just lift back the visor without it coming off as the two end clips hold it securely. I love it and hope I won't have to test the level of protection it provides, just need the insurance of knowing that i am protected in the event of.

   Luckily I wore this helmet during my last ride. I was on a descent on a mountain, and could not brake enough to handle a hairpin turn. Still traveling at about 20mph, I fell off my bike to avoid slamming into a stand of trees that had pointy branches sticking outwards, and I fell right onto the tarmac. My head escaped from that fall totally unscathed.

The visor works great to shield the sun and can easily be removed and put back on. Hoping not to find out how safe and effective the helmet is (fingers crossed). Looks great though!

   This helmet from Scwinn is your best bet for keeping your kiddo safe while riding their bike. It fits like a glove and allows for adjustment of the size to increase the fit to perfection. The straps also allow for adjustment to fit around the ear. The padding is adequate and my 11, 8, 5 and 4 year old do not complain of it being uncomfortable. This helmet is perfect!

   I have been using it for about 2 weeks on a 12 mile daily ride. The airflow slots are nice, I think I actually sweat less wearing it. It is light enough it doesn't bother my head or neck. The straps and liners were easy to adjust to good fit. I can wear it over a sweat band, though I have found I don't need too. I like it so far. of course I have not tested its safety aspects.

And with the covid regulations still affecting many, biking is a great way to get out and get some fresh air independently with the safety of my new helmet. While it came later than estimated, during these times I gave them that added factor. Love the color options they had. And you can't be that price.
