   This is a super nice helmet especially for the price. Very comfy and super lightweight. The strap doesnt interfere with my big beard either. helmet stays in place without having to be super tight on your head. So comfy I forget that im wearing it. One issue is the bugs where i live, horseflies and deerflies are super thick this year and they will fly right into the ventilation holes and bite my bald head while im trying to beat them off. If the vent holes had light screen in them it would be a major improvement, but I ride down dirt roads deep in the woods so its only a problem if you ride in my conditions.

   I used to be an avid cyclist. Had no problem spending big $$ on bikes, parts and riding equipment. I have spent a lot of $ on expensive, cutting edge gear & helmets and though I am older now and no longer need all of that top of the line gear anymore, I have to say that this helmet, (fir me,) is by far the best fitting & most comfortable helmet that I have ever worn. I have a ginormous head so it’s difficult to find one that fits well and doesn’t have hard contact spots, even with the necessary padding. I had to crank the adjustment almost all of the way out but I am very happy with this helmet. Light & well ventilated.

   Recently, I had a bicycle crash. I hit the ground pretty hard, and my knee was badly cut. Cops and paramedics came and bandaged me up. Luckily, I did not need to go to the hospital and the helmet saved me from a bad head injury. I fell off of my bike and landed on my back. There are scratches on the helmet on the rear and side (near the temple area). I strongly recommend this helmet for anyone! Unfortunately, I had an accident, but the helmet stood up to the test. Hopefully, none of you will ever need the protection of the helmet, but if you do, it is definitely a solid piece of equipment. It is a necessity for all bike riders - even the casual ones.

   My 12 year old has a giant head. He had this helmet previously and it fit great. He happened to leave it out in the foyer (it normally stays in the garage with his bike) and our Cane Corso Mastiff got a hold of it. She really enjoyed her chew toy and we came home to piles of plastic and styrofoam. So, in case you were wondering, it will not hold up to a mastiff’s separation anxiety style chewing. We did not hold it against the helmet. I ordered the exact same one as a replacement and the dog now wears a basket muzzle when we leave the house. My son is past liking all the flashy helmets he liked as a small kiddo, so this plain but cool looking helmet gets 5 stars for comfort and style.

   The same helmet at the bike shop was $15 more....I love the light in the back of the helmet for night riding and it also has the option to flash instead of the always on feature. It is VERY easy to adjust by turning the light knob to make an instant fit....I didn't want a helmet because of messing up my hair and thinking wearing something on my head would be too warm but with the holes it makes for a cool ride and after my first ride with it I actually forgot it is on my head it is so comfortable....I have a large head for a woman and was afraid it would be too small and not easy to adjust....It is a breeze and made much better than the helmet my husband paid $20 more for at the bike shop.

   I have a lot of bicycling adventures I'm on going on this summer and I needed to replace my old one (because it somehow disappeared). The photo on Amazon makes it seem like the front is a solid white, but it actually isn't. There is a nice, light floral pattern on it. I tried to capture it in one of the photos I attached. The helmet fit me well, It does have an adjustment at the back so you can adjust the fit just right. The foam pieces inside are comfortable and removable which makes it easier for cleaning. After adjusting the chin strap, the excess strap was very long, so I just trimmed it. That was the only issue I had with it so far. It gets the job done, looks great, and was a great price.

   This is my third Schwinn Thrasher helmet, and I’m definitely a fan. I was wearing my first one, the basic black model, when I unwisely decided to bike down a poorly-lit street and hit a fallen tree branch that I didn’t see until I was lying on the ground next to it. Afterwards, I discovered that my helmet was in two pieces, but my head was not. I’m pretty sure I landed on my forehead, but I didn’t even have a bruise on my head, let alone a concussion or skull fracture. (I did have assorted other injuries, but as the little instruction booklet that comes with the helmet explains, a bike helmet cannot protect any part of the body that it doesn’t cover. I’d like to thank Schwinn’s legal department for clearing that up.)

   I just received my helmet I paid under $25. Super nice looking and fit perfectly after adjusting the rear dial of the light for the straps to loosen. I was very impressed on the looks and quality of this helmet. 25 years ago you have to pay $75 minimum to get this level of quality in a helmet. Nice to see companies make very affordable and safety oriented bike helmets. The rear light is also a nice added security. I would easily buy another should I ever need it! Update 1 week later. After having used this helmet a week riding around on trails. I love this helmet and it fits perfectly! 30 years ago these kinds of helmets were around the $80-$120 range. Thankfully now they are tons cheaper and feel just as comfortable!

   This is a very attractive helmet, with contrasting pink/white/grey adding to visibility which is always a plus for a cyclist. It's also a very comfortable helmet, with plenty of vents to keep your head cool (I recommend wearing a soft cloth headband to keep hair and sweat out of your face while riding). But most importantly, it feels like a very safe helmet. Fortunately I haven't had to find out for myself in an accident yet, but the adjustable chin strap and an easily adjustable dial in the back make it easy to keep the helmet snug and secure on your head. This is exactly what I was looking for as a nice-looking basic helmet, easy to put on and go for a ride, makes me feel very safe and protected and at a fair price point.

   I have never worn a bike helmet in my life and have been bike riding for 40 years. Since people have been texting and driving and sometimes I like to go off road, I thought it may be time to protect myself. I have never fallen, so I don't know if it actually works. I bought it based off the reviews of it actually working for some who have had accidents. I was doing physical therapy for my hand and I brought it in and my therapist approved. She said you always want to make sure it is a helmet that has been side tested as well as front and back. For some reason there are a lot of helmets that only get tested front to back. I have tried it out. It is very light weight and adjustable. I almost forget it is there when riding. It also blocks the sun! Never thought of that until it happened. Lastly, it is stylish.
