Last night was the first night I used them, and today was the first time I woke up in a long time without a sore neck. They're right in the middle - not too hard and not too soft. I looked it up and I found it used because I slept on both of these pillows and were very comfortable but I found that I liked the great value and much more expensive pacific one I bought and i don't have neck pain or cold sores because i have wide shoulders ohhh i love these pillows and king size is even cheaper because of it you will not be disappointed
