This massager has two directions with two speeds in each direction, plus a vibration mode. The amazing thing is that I can apply a little bit of pressure, or a lot of it, and this machine just keeps spinning.

It doesn't have the same pressure as when you rub your scalp with your hands but there are two settings and they are good enough to relieve the stress on the scalp and get the blood flowing. It's very easy to hold and I haven't had a problem with tangled hair-- the design has to prevent that somehow.
