Used this to train my cat to ring for entry! He's a smart one and got it in a day. That said, his little paws have too light of a touch and I switched to a digital option, but this bell got him trained and probably would have worked well on a bigger furball. (My cat is 8.5 pounds and a little frail.) Still a great purchase!

At first we tried with the other traditional bell like they have in front offices, but that was a total fail. Then on the 2nd day of trying with this little guy, my cat started digging the bell. When I'm not even near the bell, I can her her digging it. If you want to train your cat to ring a bell, I highly recommend this product.

I got a set of two. One for my dog and one foe my daughter. She has a 16 month old intrigued with the bell. I am keeping the second bell in case the first one breaks. We only allow our dogs our one door so we do not need one at the door that is not fenced in. :) I love it. It is loud enough to hear but not loud enough to scared the dog when learning.

It was a little bit hard for potty training at the beginning, since the touch of paw may fail the center and ended up very short sound, so it sits there for a while, until, my friend's kid started to play with it, and .... I started to train my dog to ring ring the bell, and.. it turned out so much fun. Now it's a toy more than a potty training thing.

This cute little bell has saved our doors from so much scratching. I originally planned to get a string of bells for the doors we use to let him out, but I didn't want to wake the whole house if we got up with him in the night. This little bell was easy to train him to use and we keep it right next to the door. He learned to boop it with his nose/paw after a day of us ringing it before taking him out.

Bought this thinking I'd teach my dog to ring the bell when he wanted to go out. Then got to thinking I don't want my dog telling me what to do. So turned it into a recall tool. I Would ring it every time I was taking him out to go toilet. Then as he has gotten older, I ring it when I want him to come back in from the fenced back yard. Works like a charm. Association for him is bell = cookie when I come to the door.

The size of the product is great. I can place it in plain sight without it being noticeable because of its size. It appears to be made well. My Yorkie is a wild little boy and he's played with it several times and it's still in one piece. Training with this has been very helpful.
