   I bought this pack because I had a small camelback that was too small and a larger pack for a multi day hike and wanted something inexpensive to try for size because I was unsure what I needed for a long day hike. This is just the right size for essential items, all the water I need for a hot day, and plenty of room for rain gear. It has plenty of pockets with lots of room. It's not water proof and doesn't come with a cover so that might be a necessary additional purchase. I'm 5'1” and found that it adjusted to fit me perfectly. I was surprised by the quality based on the price.

   For half-day hikes in the desert, I wanted a small, light weight pack that could carry plenty of water and a few supplies. I found very few options, but this pack fills the bill. Lighter and slimmer than a regular day pack, but still carries 3L water, and lots of pockets for incidentals. It is adjustable and comfortable to wear, and seems well made for a lightweight pack.

Love the color and how functional it is. I can fit in food , snacks, my keys, my pepper spray, sun shirt rolled up and water. I take this 4 wheeling with me too. I'm a petite woman and this fits me perfectly!

   I purchased as a last minute replacement for a name brand hydration pack and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the water reservoir, the open/close mechanism which made it easy to fill in a small sink and to let it dry out afterwards, and the pockets are a great size for everything I needed to carry and I loved the easy storage pocket! The tube is insulated too which was a nice touch!

The 3L bladder is a lot of water and has always been enough for me on long bike rides. The compartment for the bladder is insulated too so if you throw a few ice packs it'll stay cool all day
