   I've noticed that cushions have different levels of comfort on different types of seats/styles. Both of my main chairs at home have wooden tops, but on one of them the cushion is a lot more comfortable. Take pictures! So if you have some options yourself, maybe try that. I really think someone as light as a teenager could sit on this one without getting stuck at all and find it a bit hard!

   I bought this to make the usual dining chairs we have at home to work 8 hours a day. Working from home during covid social distancing. While I can't sit in a chair all day without pain, this makes it tolerable at the end of the day and weekend. That said, I'm ready to sit on it as soon as I'm done working, so it doesn't turn the chair suddenly into a 16-hour-a-day chair.

   I suffer from frequent sciatica which makes my 5/6 hour trips to visit my grandmother miserable. These cushions provide much better pain relief than the previous ones, plus they "push" me somewhat to supplement my reduced height due to osteoarthritis. I also use them at home, and the footrest is less painful. Old age is not for the weak, but these cushions make it much more comfortable.
