After 3 days of staring at the box I opened it up and gave it a try. Well, it was amazing the difference in my dog and the walks were actually pleasurable.    This collar really modifies her impulse to lunge at other dogs. She's obviously comfortable during the no pressure, regular walk, and now after a couple weeks, we can tell she'd rather not lunge at another dog and keep walking rather than have the collar tighten around her neck. After 4 years of training and other methods of trying to get her to not pull or attack other dogs while on a leash, this has been a game changer.

It comes as two separate pieces. The fabric collar and then the prongs. You can use just the prongs if you wanted, but I like to have the collar over it so it doesn't look so scary.    At first, this looks like a cruel device to put on my dog, but it didn't a cause any harm. The spikes are not sharp and didn't create any pain for my dog. However, when the dog starting pulling on the leash, it creates enough discomfort for him to stop. Even with the discomfort, my dog doesn't have any problems with my leaving it on or putting it back on.
