   My roommate says I look ridiculous in it, but I love it. It's always been such a hassle finding a beanie I can wear with my hair up, but this is perfect. It allows me to wear my hair up in any way I choose (ponytail, bun, messy bun, etc) and still have the beanie cover my ears and fit comfortably without pushing something into my head potentially giving me a migraine - another huge plus for me. In cold weather it is one more tool in the battle against my migraines. if you don't mind random people thinking it looks ridiculous, I'd absolutely recommend this. The purple is an amazing and gorgeous color as well!

   I’m never inclined to write a review on an item but let me tell you this is the best hat ever! It’s warm, comfy, stylish, durable, good quality, and feminine! I love the fact I can pull my big thick messy bun through the hole at the top! It’s the best hat with women In mind! I always hated wearing those beanies that I pull over my head with my pony tail or messy bun bulging in the back! So not flattering! And you would think the hole in the top would make you cold because it’s exposing a portion of your head but guess what it doesn’t! It’s soo very warm!! Especially when you cover your ears with the hat! It’s very insulated! Who would of thought I’d find a hat that met every one of my demands! Do not hesitate!! Buy this hat! Buy it in all colors!! You end up getting a whole range of colors, which is nice if you want it to work with a solid color scarf you already have or with multiple coats in different colors. It is just as described, with a heavy duty elastic hair band worked into the crown of the hat, and plenty of room to pull through a ponytail or bun. I mostly wear my hair in a messy bun year round, and this hat style is a huge problem solver for me. I bought it on sale at the end of the season thinking I wouldn't get much wear out of it for a while, but our forecast says we are going to be having plenty of cold weather in Chicago between now and mid March, so I can try them out. I ended up buying a couple of different colors just so that I would have choices and it would make it a bit more fun (and warm) getting through the tail end of a record cold winter.

I purchased the brown mix. Lovely shades of brown, some beige and black. Very neutral to wear with all my jackets and scraves. Of course the primary reason for the purchase is the hole on top, no squished hair. I love wearing my pony tail through it or making a messy bun popping through. Its lovely!! Received lots of "where did you get that" on line in the supermarket. We lost power for 3 days with these crazy snow storms we've been having. I wore this hat in the house and it kept me warm and toasty without feeling bulky. I do have to fold it over once all around. It fits much better on my head that way. Will order another soon.
