   Fit my needs almost exactly. I wanted a small desk lamp for my computer desk which is a corner of the great room, not much natural light even during the daytime. Especially needed at night to be able to see the keyboard, etc. I work from home part-time. I wouldn't recommend for working in the dark, it's not enough for that. But certainly fits the bill for adding enough light to see your desktop better during the daytime and reducing eye strain. This little lamp is quality built and attractive. A super buy for the money. My only wish would be the one/off switch was on the lamp base instead of an in-line switch on the cord.

Definitely adds warmth to the room considering I don't like using ceiling lights or sharp white lights to illuminate my room.

   I tried the candelabra light bulb. I find it odd as it's recommended. The tip peaks out a bit at the top of the shade. It's too bright for me and the bulb is too hot!! I can imagine it would cause damage on the shade. I replaced it with the nightlight bulb and it's much better n safer too! I didn't want it too bright and it gives enuff light on my wide kitchen windowsill.
