   This was so perfect! I read a lot of reviews for different Red Riding Hood costumes and this one seemed to get the best reviews overall. I was not disappointed. The cape is a pretty heavy sort of velvet material that was a lot of fun to wear and looked great. The costume itself was also of a decently good quality fabric and held together well. I am a 36 DD and slender and it is usually very hard to find ready wear anything let alone a costume. This fit great! I was so excited that it worked out so well. There was room for my boobs and didn't drape on my like most things large enough to accommodate my chest. It was fitted throughout the waste and flared out perfectly. I bought a white tutu thing to wear underneath as well as white thigh highs and mary jane heels. It really added to the overall costume.

   I got this for Halloween and I was really impressed by the quality at this price point! I had to snip a few loose threads, but the fabric is sturdy (the black and red are velvet, the white is cotton, and the lacing is cord) and the construction was pretty legit, aside from the fabric not matching up on the zipper in back. The tulle underskirt is really scratchy, but if you wear tights or leggings with it, it's fine (and magically doesn't snag on said tights). The bust area provides quite ample space if you're bigger up top, but I'm a 32B and ended up padding my chest so it didn't look sad and deflated.

   I loved this costume! I bought it for my average sized 10 year old daughter (She wears a size 8-10 in girls and is neither tall nor short) hoping that it would be workable. I figured, after reading the reviews, it might actually fit, and worse case scenario, we could use the hood. I was more than happy! It zipped up and fit her ribs perfectly, and went to her mid-thigh. It was still none too long--I can't *imagine* what this would look like on someone taller than 5 foot! We did have to tuck in the frilly bust, but it looked fine, especially when we added the hood. We did have her wear a frilly petticoat, but it would have been pretty cute without. (She did complain that the lacy part was scratchy before we added the poof-slip) The fabric was lovely, and the hood was long and gorgeous . I'm considering buying this in a size medium for my 14 year old (she's short) so they can wear them without the hoods as little Christmas dresses. High quality, worth the money, but no one over 5 feet tall should wear this dress and expect their bottom not to be hanging out.

   This is such a beautiful costume that fitted perfectly.. the cape and the skirt part of this outfit is a dark red, with a velvety material which makes it look sooo expensive and high quality. It is on the shorter end so you could always pair it with tights or just rock it alone. I paired it with some black gloves and a little basket and maybe some high knees leather boots. I just don't perfectly fit the "proportions" of the costume measurements, like most women I'm sure don't. Therefore, I always buy the size up from what I probably should. Which in this case, was the right choice.
