   Well it went together easy enough. It charged like it was supposed to. However I cannot tell if it is working, because there is no visible stream of electric current running between the two contact points. That said, the light works. However after turning off the power switch, the contact points must hold an electrical charge, because I've been accidentally shocked.

   At first I was so happy to have bought this for my wife, I thought it would make her feel safer at home while I'm away from work... However, when she held it in her hand you could see a gleam in her eye, one that I know all too well. She was instantly driven mad with the power this thing offered she chased me around the house for over 5min screaming "THE POWER IS MINE B****!" finally she relented when i agreed to apply some conductive jell and allow her to shock my calf in order to show her its effectiveness and I'd say unless the creature on the other side of this has unusually tough skin, or has been exposed to electricity as often as I have then this will most likely detour anyone from a head-on assault.

   We've been having an issue with our Pitbull and the Neighbors German Sheperd trying to kill one another anytime one slips through while the other is outside. What used to take 4 or 5 people several minutes to break apart took a matter of 30 seconds with the first ZAP. Not only did it stop the two 80 lb dogs fight but had both of them running back inside and straight to their kennels. Would highly recommend for any Pitbull or aggressive breed rescue or Foster parents

   Besides frying my multimeter (my own fault!) I’m happy with this purchase so far. This was a long time “wish list” item my wife’s had her eye on for “peace of mind” while out in her she shed. Thankfully she’s never had to use this but if a coyote ever jumps our fence they’ll be in for quite a shock! :-) seems sturdy and well built, this should last for years. Battery seems to hold a good charge for a few months between uses. I charge it up every few months for good measure. I just need to remember not to tick off the wife now! :-)

   I have a 110 lb Doberman and I recently got a 120lb Rott .These 2 get along 90 % of the time,but have had 3 fights that leave them bloody and bruised.I have used a water hose with the nozzle right down their throats,but neither will turn loose,I also have shock collars on them,but they only work before they fight,after they get going the shock collars are useless.I got this cattle prod to see if it would work.So,the last time they got into it,the fight only lasted seconds,the Prod did the trick!!I've only had my cattle prod a couple of weeks and it does what it should,I hope it lasts a long time.

   Well let me tell you, this cattle prod can give your game just the spark it needs. It’ll provide hours of fun chasing your friends around and lighting them up a bit. But then you have to hand it over and it’s their turn. Do your best to avoid it because no one wants to be a loser. But losing does come with a jolt of motivation.
   
   It’s even better if the person you’re tagging doesn’t know their in the game. They’ll be shocked when they discover that everyone is fair game.
   
   We’ve played as kids and we’ve played as adults and cattle prod tag is definitely one of our favorite pastimes!

   This prod packs a wonderful punch. It sets the record straight the first time you use it. A few days after receiving it, my dogs decided that "today's the perfect day" to start a fight.
   
   WELL, let me tell you, this put an end to it just as quickly as it started. A four-against-one estrogen-fueled gang attack dissolved into thin air in less than 10 seconds. No blood, sweat, tears, or exhaustion... No yelling, no panicking, no leashes. Just a zap to each of their butts; they must have seen stars or the devil himself. Never in the history of multi-dog ownership has breaking up a fight been so effortless!
   
   The one that got ganged up on looked up at me like I was magic.

   She came ready to go...zzzzzst...zzzzzst. Was well charged when received tested on door knob and threw plenty of sparks. Put it on the charger for less than a (?)hour and the red light on the charger had turned green showing it was charged so I didn't have to guess if was charged or not. This was the longest prod I could find which I needed for reaching through several layers of fencing and gates. LED light is a lensor type warm spectrum flood pattern about 5' wide at a 5' distance good for about 30 feet distance plenty to see around inside the barn and close around your horse. The switches have clear vinyl covers giving some water resistance and the charging port has a tight plastic plug also. This met my very low price point for the very occasional use I need.
