After using this my hands and fingers do not hurts so much. I am able to straighten my fingers more than I could. It is not a quick fix you have to stick with it. All three settings are fairly firm and will leave your hands all dotty from the lining of the machine, but it feels so good, Im used to having firm massages and this compares for sure!
